Our products come with a beautiful wallet card which explains the gift. There are several versions depending on which item you purchase.

Original Wording:

This gift is a small token of gratitude for the incredible support you have shown me. It is an actual parachute release pin which is necessary to open the parachute, slow the descent from freefall, and ensure a soft landing. Life has a way of catching us off guard which can feel like an emotional freefall. You were there for me through your words, your actions, and the simple act of listening. You had enough faith for the both of us and enough strength to sustain me until I could find my own again. No words can express the gratitude I feel, so let this pin serve as a reminder and ‘thank you’ for providing me with a soft landing.

Tandem Wording:

“In the world of tandem jumping a special parachute system is built for two. No one moves faster or slower than the other. Both jump together, both free-fall together, and both descend to the ground together. These two parachute pins represent this life’s journey we have been blessed to walk with one another. One is for me, and one is for you. Let them serve as the testament that our joys were doubled, and our sorrows lessened, because they were shared. We offered our shoulders so that the other could cry. We offered our laughter so that the other could smile. We offered our hands so the other may be steadied. Even through life’s free-falls we always landed side by side. Thank you, for all that you have brought to my life. I am honored to call you my friend.”

Over $10,000 in SOFT Landing Support, GIVEN.

A 10% contribution from every Parachute Promise purchase goes directly into The Soft Landing Fund. Together we have helped single mothers fight legal battles, given shoppers cash to buy groceries they desperately needed, helped people suffering from addiction seek critical counseling- and more. As long as Parachute Promise exists we will still continue the practice of active gratitude and always paying it forward where we can, however we can.

This is our promise to you.

“I spent ten years as an electronics technician for the Federal Aviation Administration. I created invisible vector highways in the sky and maintained invisible paths which guided planes safely to their airports and runways. In clear weather and in storms. I created safe landings for millions of passengers and here at Parachute Promise I’m honored to create a different type of landing with The Soft Landing Fund. ” -Kat McCullough, Owner + Founder
